For this, our first visit to to Turkey, we counted ourselves most fortunate in discovering Gunay's Garden - a little bit of paradise - in the historic village of Kaya Koy. It proved to be an ideal place to stay and enjoy the feeling of being in an authentic Turkey away from the main tourist centres, but still with in reach of everything that this fascinating country has to offer. We didn't do much this time but are determined to return to explore further its wonderful country side, discover its ancient ruins and taste more of its cuisine at the many village restaurants.
