| Gunay's Garden |
A splendid setting and not far to walk home. |
We only had one meal at Gunay's Garden but that was because we wanted to try other places in the village. We couldn't fault Tolga's cooking - it was so tasty and interesting that we didn't know when to stop eating.

| Istanbul |
Just down the road from Gunay's Garden, in fact the first restaurant at the end of the track. A pleasant setting with an upper and lower level. A reasonable menu which doesn't try to be too ambitious but still has plenty of choice.

The meze platter could be a meal in itself. The bread arrives first fresh from the oven and there is a danger of filling up on this before the real food arrives. The casseroles were excellent. The food is prepared fresh and takes a little time but it is well worth the wait (actually this is true of all the restaurants we tried).
The owner was a very chatty individual. |
Cin Bal |
A local restaurant with a difference where you choose your own meat and BBQ it next to your table. A wonderful setting on tables under the shade of vines with a number of the traditional Turkish Kush seating areas around the edges. |
We had to go twice as the first time we had't quite figured out the system. I would definitely recommend a Kush to sit in as the view is superior and it adds to the atmosphere of the meal. The meat was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection even though I do say so myself. The Cin Bal experience is not to be missed. |
Sarnic |
On the fringes of the ghost village in what is a rather special setting. There are options to eat inside or out, both of which have an equal appeal. |
Charming and attentive service. Very special meze, of which you are offered a selection. For the main course I went for the meat balls and of course they were delicious. |
