PhotoLycia holidays are based in our gorgeous stone villas in Gunay's Garden Kaya Koy. These villas are usually booked solid throughout the high summer season from the end of May to the end of October.
Alternative accommodation may be arranged at short notice and will always be of the highest standard in private en-suite hotel rooms

The weather in this part of Turkey is ideal for summer holidays with hot days and warm nights, but not necessarily for photography. The summer light is intense and the atmosphere quickly develops heat haze which hangs in the air until the autumnal rains cool the lower atmosphere. Therefore, we run these limited holiday/workshops for photographers at the very best time of the year when the light is good and the air is clear.
Early spring is by far the best time for wildlife, nature, fauna and flora. The colours are magnificent and the opportunities abundant.
